MediaValet

I like how MediaValet's DAM helps manage files without a folder structure, when you need to think differently about files, such as having one file in multiple places with a tagging system, and how it enables sharing data through branded webpage portals online.

MediaValet has improved the way marketing works in our organization through the way it handles digital assets. The web interface is plain and easy to use so anyone can upload, label and search for files even if they are not a technical person.

That it includes descriptions that help explain images once they are uploaded to MediaValet, which is helpful for my team and I to more efficiently understand the conditions in the field without having to be physically present. Second, I like how accessible the product is in terms of being able to not just search for an asset, but also being able to share/comment/download it once it is found. Third, I like that it saves alot of time for me managing assets and sharing them with coworkers rather than having to locate them in emails.

MediaValet has so many useful features, that you almost have too much control, which isn't a bad problem to have. As an idea, perhaps it would be useful if the company offered the full control experience to users who need to frequently manage DAM data in detail, and then offered a greatly simplified experience for users who only ever need to do one thing, such as uploading data, or searching.

We have some of our people that require the ability to manipulate the assets despite the situation where internet accessibility is compromised. This means that one may lack strong offline features during traveling or remote presentations and similar activities.

It can be a learning curve for some folks to use the software as its not the most user friendly. I also dislike how its not compatible on my mobile phone, and sometimes there are some limitations when creating file names.
