Product Information on Microsoft Bookings

Updated 13th October 2025

What is Microsoft Bookings?

Microsoft Bookings is a software designed to facilitate appointment scheduling and management for businesses and organizations. The software enables users to create customized booking pages that can be shared with customers, allowing them to book services, consultations, or meetings based on staff availability. Features include calendar integration, automated confirmations and reminders, rescheduling capabilities, and the ability to collect customer information during the booking process. Microsoft Bookings streamlines the scheduling workflow, reducing manual coordination and minimizing the risk of double bookings, which helps organizations save time and improve efficiency in managing appointments.

Microsoft Bookings Pricing

Microsoft Bookings software uses a subscription-based pricing model and is included as part of certain Microsoft 365 plans. Access to the software's features is determined by the user's Microsoft 365 subscription tier, with availability integrated for businesses subscribing to applicable plans. Standalone purchase options for the software are not offered.

“Microsoft Bookings Integrates Seamlessly With M365 But Lacks Customization Options”

4.0
Oct 29, 2025
Simply put, Microsoft Bookings got 4 out of 5 stars because it's and amazing tool if your company already lives and breathes Microsoft. It's essentially free with your M365 license and the way it checks my Outlook calendar to avoid double-booking and automatically sets up Teams meetings is second to none. It is also a bit rigid, with little customization options for look and feel of the booking page and it doesn't always play well with others like Zoom or and external CRM.

Microsoft Bookings Likes & Dislikes

Like

The single best feature is the flawless automatic synchronization with the rest of the M365 ecosystem. The ability for the system to check the real-time availability in my Outlook calendar is great and then being able to instantly create a unique Teams meeting link for every virtual appointment is unmatched and awesome.

Like

It's easy to use and setup from within MsTeams, I can add it to an email and cut back a few back and forths when booking meeting with clients. I like that i can block off time for dedicated working periods or personal time. Other users will put it in their signatures as a Book Me, i use it on a case by case basis

Like

The ability to show agent availability without publicly showing specific agent names, and showing availability based on real-time calendar availability of our pool of agents was critical to us for our needs.

Dislike

The things I liked least are its restrictive nature outside of the Microsoft ecosystem, including limited branding customization on the booking page which makes it look generic, the absence of native integrations with popular 3rd party tools like Zoom and the lack of built-in payment processing, which forces us to use separate, clunky workarounds for paid services.

Dislike

My main complaint is that I haven't been able to make it multi-lingual for my French/English Clients I used to have it Public but i now send it as a private link and it makes it easier to manage It works well if you need to book with one person, but falls short when booking meetings with a whole team.

Dislike

While the level of customization was good and sufficient for our needs, we did run into limitations with how the final form shown to a customer could be customized. So while we we able to make this on-brand, it did not provide the level of customization that we hoped for. It would also be helpful if we could have excluded certain events in agent calendars from blocking out time in the tool.

MS Bookings is an excellent tool where premium support of customers is required

    5.0
    Jan 7, 2026
We used Microsoft Bookings to fill a specific need, allowing end-customers to book specific time slots without customer service agents in support of a premium product that we were offering, that in some cases requires more in-depth explanation and setup assistance than our typical product mix. We found the tool to be absolutely superb in doing this, with a straightforward workflow for customers and good customization options for us.

Microsoft Bookings: A powerful, Easy to use scheduling tool.

    4.0
    Nov 25, 2025
I would consider it a user friendly tool, it simplifies how businesses and organizations manage their appointments. The great part about this is that it integrates well with teams and outlook. However, this is great for those who already rely on Microsoft's productivity tools. I love the fact that it has a self service page which allows patients to schedule their own appointments without doing the back and forth regarding calls or emails from the office.

Microsoft Bookings - The Luxury Calendar Manager

Overall this is an excellent integrated software for calendar use on a business/enterprise scale. Very powerful software but could use more support on customization. It is easy to learn, which is rare for something this strong.
