Mimica speeds up time to value for process optimization and automation discovery work substantially over traditional methods. The product is very easy to deploy and support. Mimica is able to collect a massive amount of data about the work an end user completes during the task mining recording period and then leverages AI to segment the data into processes. The visualizations of the processes have filters that allow different types of analysis from automation potential, application use, etc. The tool allows exports to other process mapping tools as well as for process documentation. The privacy aspects of the tool are also key to getting adoption - the users being recorded are in full control of the recorder and can pause as needed, and any PII data in the screenshots produced during recording is redacted.
I like how customizable it is. We use this product to meet a variety of needs and Mimica always finds a way to help.
Production time to create maps is over two weeks. The Miner interface gets busy as more projects are conducted. I would like a project management dashboard as part of the services.
The backend user administration would benefit from additional features to manage access for various groups. The Mimica recorder is not compatible with Macs - only PCs.
