The enterprise version is not too expensive compared to competitors. The user interface is simple, basic and easy to use.

Scalable : From small scale enterprise to large scale enterprise IT infrastructure systems, Nagios XI is best suited. Configurations are customizable. This makes Nagios XI the best. 100s of multiple plug-ins. Fast and speedy alerting system. Interface is easily understandable.

While the Nagios XI tool offers a high-level overview for monitoring SQL servers, it lacks in-depth insights specifically for SQL database performance issues. However, it remains a reliable solution for general SQL Server monitoring.

The product uses many non-native external plugins to monitor various services. Non-native plugins are sometimes out of date or difficult to find technical documentation for.

If there is a network outage from Nagios, that might put our IT infrastructure systems in trouble. Because if a monitoring tool is down, we won't know if there is an issue, if there is any, as there won't be any alert. Other than that, I like everything about Nagios XI.

Nagios XI not only monitors the systems, but also sends an alert through email, SMS, or any ticketing tool. Without Nagios XI, our IT infrastructure systems would be a chaos.
