I like the licensing scheme has now drastically simplified and I know that I am buying something with price certainty.
While SolarWinds Observability delivers powerful full-stack monitoring , many users find the initial setup and configuration overwhelming w, with a steep learning curve compounded by occasionally outdated or unclear documentation and a somewhat cluttered interface that hampers navigation. Integration with certain external services can be complex and time-consuming, requiring significant technical know-how to align it seamlessly within existing toolchains.
Their support is horrible Software is buggy To many moving parts
Its not so much a dislike, but I wish that SolarWinds would be able to natively integrate with the most common platforms like Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Centre) or Aruba Central etc... to get richer alerting and alarming beyond standard SNMP stuff. Since all the major vendors open up their APIs, it wouldnt be hard to get some API based alerts from these specific Cloud or on-prem OEM vendor mgmt tools.
