NetScaler, currently a component of the Cloud Software Group, provides comprehensive application delivery and security solutions that simplify and automate processes across both on-premise and cloud platforms. The primary aim is to deliver resilient and secure applications, maintaining peak application performance despite the nature of the application and the underlying infrastructure. This focus particularly is essential for organizations transitioning to hybrid or multi-cloud systems, ensuring optimal application experiences for all stakeholders.

1- Premium Security feature 2-Bundled along with VDI License 3-Deployment flexibility with Migration capabilities
1) I like work from home feature that is embedded in this. It allows accessing multiple webapps by connecting to VPN 2) The price of this application is much cheaper than its competitors 3) The platform is easy to use and any new user can get easily onboarded
The main features of NetScaler that I find mostly used are the following - SSL Offloading - GSLB - Security Updates - NetScaler Gateway Majority of our customers have web applications that they want to load balance and they are using HTTPS. NetScaler reduces the utilization of web servers due to its SSL offloading capability. GSLB is also widely used as they are looking for a seamless load balancing solutions and DR solution for multiple sites. NetScaler also updates their security bulletin from time to time, ensuring customers that they are being secured from all vulnerabilities. Lastly, the majority of CVAD customers we have also purchased NS Gateway to secure their CVAD sessions using its ZTNA principle that the gateway uses.
1- Vulnerability identified in every quarter and recommending to upgrade 2- Only NetScaler engineers will deploy and manage easily 3- Logging limitations and need additional monitoring tool for details insight view
1) The connection to VPN is super slow and annoying at times 2) Cross-functionality across different types of devices is a challenge 3) There is downtime in usage of this application at time which impacts productivity 4) Interface is easy to use
Mostly the technical support is the one I dislike the most. Particularly frontline support. We had problems with it from time to time. However, their escalation team is better. Aside from that, the pricing is something that not only customers, but us as partners dislike. The new licensing model may not be good for small to medium businesses.
