We've been using Nimble storage for many years as our backup and recovery solution. We haven't used other solutions so I can't compare but it works great for us!

It's a product owned by a reputable company and has great support. Works well and we're very familiar with its functions.

Well, it was free from HP as our 3PAR cannot function correctly.

Easy to use interface, easy device zoning and provisioning. Support is also top notch, best amongst enterprise vendors.

May not have the most up-to-date features compared to other solutions. I believe cost may be a bit high. And it can be a bit difficult to work with at first to learn.

It's really not big enough for the environment and it's an expensive system. We also have to support two SANs now and our servers are spread across the two systems. Not a very scalable system.

Software quality below standard. Scalability limited leading to data islands.

The array user interface is fantastic, very easy in a time where systems were clunky. When HPE purchased it the software quality dropped with many core bugs that diminished the usefulness of the product.
