Six 9 guaranteed availability. Easy to operate, admin and configure. Hybrid and all-flash types support mixed and mainstream workloads at greater scale and efficiency. It makes day to day operation very simple, agile and predictable.

Well, it was free from HP as our 3PAR cannot function correctly.

It's a product owned by a reputable company and has great support. Works well and we're very familiar with its functions.

Limited advanced customization compared to some competitors. Initial costs can be slightly higher for small enterprises or environments.

It's really not big enough for the environment and it's an expensive system. We also have to support two SANs now and our servers are spread across the two systems. Not a very scalable system.

May not have the most up-to-date features compared to other solutions. I believe cost may be a bit high. And it can be a bit difficult to work with at first to learn.

We've been using Nimble storage for many years as our backup and recovery solution. We haven't used other solutions so I can't compare but it works great for us!

The array user interface is fantastic, very easy in a time where systems were clunky. When HPE purchased it the software quality dropped with many core bugs that diminished the usefulness of the product.
