You get to choose different services from different vendors/OEM's and you are not really dependent on one OEM. The pricing point of their services was another attraction along with their support ecosystem.
NTT Communications Data Center are Just basic MPLS server delivered and self-manageable
The Hosting facilities are world class. They are newly built, state of the art, yet competitive with few frills. Access feels secure yet simple enough (biometric access) Complementary / peripheral services (backups, monitoring)
Time that took us to complete a POC was huge. Also integration of our existing applications with their infra was a little time consuming and negotiating on commercials for support was a task.
The cost is significantly higher than their peers
There are limited fibre (Xconnect/NNI/peering/IPT) connectivity options. The hosting services feel somewhat Cookie-cut hosting with little room for deviation. After sales service could be improved.
