Ease of setup for the workflow start, huge amount of built in integrations for collecting data, clear view of all the pending requests and their status based on the workflow setup. It's also easy to configure informative dashboars that help getting the current status of all requests at a glance.
The technical competency of OneTrust's Privacy & Data Governance Cloud to manage the consent and data subject requests (DSRs) is outstanding. It eases the procedure of recording user preferences across channels and takes care of DSRs solely, annihilating tons of my teams' time.
The product offers preconfigured templates that comply with the legal requirements of your country or for us: the EU region regarding GDPR regulation. These templates were adjusted to meet our company standards and policies. The product has many types of preconfigured roles which can be used to tweak user rights to access data in the tool. We use these roles to meet the access requirements of different stakeholders in our organisation.
The biggest issue is definitely finding out what went wrong in OneTrust UI itself - the logs are really hard to read, as they're represented as a huge xml file for each workflow run, and finding quickly from them what was the cause of the failure is almost impossible.
Integrating OneTrust with our present detected SIEM (Security information and Event Management) system has been difficult to cope with. The data matrix proving wasn't logical for us, and we used a lot of OneTrust's support in order to obtain our platform work correctly.
At the moment we have no dislikes about the product.

The process is really easy to setup, with multiple built-in integrations in place. You have the flexibility to design the workflow and starting forms/entry points for the process. The OneTrust Privacy and Data Governance Cloud tool has enabled our organisation to increase ease and efficiency in processing our DSRs, however, the cloud platform has let us down on a few occasions. Having said this, OneTrust's support team is fantastic and overwhelmingly accommodating and takes the time to provide end-to-end support.
