I love being able to remotely manage all of the screens on the property. Very straightforward and user friendly interface. Scheduling options allow you to easily change content based on the time of day.

My favorite thing about this product is the cost. What you get for being one of the lower end cost digital signage options is pretty awesome. Another thing I like is the signage devices that Optisign sells on their website and even Amazon. This makes setup very simple. I just need to join your wifi, enter a code and assign the device to a playlist or schedule. My other favorite thing is the simplicity of the UI on the web and the admin app. You can get to where you need to be in just a few clicks. with no complex menu structure.
Reliant on wifi - if the internet goes down, the screens go out of sync. It still requires extra hardware to operate, which creates more opportunities for glitches. It took some trial and error to figure out the best system for customizing slides - it's best to upload slides individually instead of as a Powerpoint file, so set up can be a little bit complicated.
A bit boxed in, my hope was to integrate with websites to have options such as a moveable map or able to interact with to pull sales data
This is a small gripe, but changing the time on the slides is not very intuitive. There is a pencil icon next to the time to display a slide and when you click on it, it just selects the asset within the playlist. Once the asset is selected, you can change the time by clicking another pencil icon. I would have preferred to select one icon and have a window that came up for the time adjustment. Another issue was single sign on. It was a little more difficult than other software I've used in the past.

Great overall product that I would recommend to any business.
Optisigns has much more to offer than what we intended to use it for. It has the ability to display our Microsoft documents through SharePoint using an account, which improves overall security and ease of sharing documents. I can manage users and content on a per folder level, helping to dish out permissions on a granular level if needed.
