“Program Usability Improved Following Strategic Review and Remediation Services”
We utilized Optiv services to overhaul an existing program that was deployed within our organization, but was in desperate need of a review. The program was not being utilized properly due to a mix of complications with the initial deployment and configuration. They provided a full plan for the process, and then helped execute the recommended changes. Since then, the program in question is in a much better shape, and has become a lot easier to manage. This project is not something we would have had the time or resources to complete on our own, so their services were critical in us getting this completed. I was the primary contact and administrator that went through the project with their team, participating in the review and remediation meetings, and implementing their recommended changes.

“Optiv needs to get their internal integration together quickly!!”
The tool itself is good. However, we had many challenges with the different levels of their staffing model. While the sales person was extremely helpful, the frustratiion given where Optiv currently sits with its acquisition makes the service levels very difficult to manage. They also dont talk to each other and we have ahd to provide data multiple times and create similar tickets routinely. In addition, we were supposedly live for a month but for someone reason they werent collecting log or connected to us properly. Only when I asked after 3 weeks why no logs did they figure it out.

Well defined managed security services practice
well defined managed services for managing SIEM. it was a little dicey while accuvant and fishnet merged into Optiv but it is now working and they do a good job managing our Qradar SIEM
