If there was a discrepancy between the initial plan and the services, they were quick to try and resolve it. They were able to work within our tenant, which made things easier for trying to implement their recommended changes. This isn't so much of a dislike, but just what I would want to be better for next time. There were some complications at the beginning, as I think there was a misunderstanding of what type of service we were looking for. When scoping out for potential suitors for this project, we were looking for evaluation and remediation as one solution. After a session or two of the review, we were advised that the project was only for evaluation, and a separate service would be needed for the remediation, which was not what was intended at least from our end. Once identified as a concern, however, it was quickly remedied, and after re-evaluation of the project plan, the remainder of the sessions were adjusted to allow for the remediation process to take place.

We utilized Optiv services to overhaul an existing program that was deployed within our organization, but was in desperate need of a review. The program was not being utilized properly due to a mix of complications with the initial deployment and configuration. They provided a full plan for the process, and then helped execute the recommended changes. Since then, the program in question is in a much better shape, and has become a lot easier to manage. This project is not something we would have had the time or resources to complete on our own, so their services were critical in us getting this completed. well defined managed services for managing SIEM. it was a little dicey while accuvant and fishnet merged into Optiv but it is now working and they do a good job managing our Qradar SIEM
