It's easy to use and it helps to manage product information effectively. I like that we can export a wide variety reports from the platform. It makes my job easier.
I like the product but can't say the same about the service as mentioned above with the challenges.
If you already have experience with weblogic and oracle database, the for a DBA deploying this apps is not that complicated, but it''s not that straightforward, there are some special configurations to be made.
Platform interface is outdated.
Product is very good and can do a lot of different things as you want it to. Service can be better then what they provided for our company.
There are not many people with expertise.

RMS, ReSA, REIM works great. RPM needs work
We implemented Oracle Retail Merchandising System about 8 years back. The modules that we use are price management, sales audit, invoice matching. Since we are a off-price retailer, we had to make customizations to make the software optimal for our needs. So far it has been working well. The functionalities it provides are very useful for our business. Oracle Retail from a DBA Perspective
The internal users of this software seem very satisfied with it, we use RMS, REIM, SIM and other oracle applications. It runs very well on a weblogic server on AIX, the database is 11gR2 and so far we don't have any problems or bugs with this product. The only problem is that in our country there are not many people with expertise on Oracle Retail. We have had some issues with business logic process but we are working on fixing them. RMS will improve your batch time
Overall experience was decent as the company who coded our application did an awful job. This doesn't mean the product is bad, but what didn't help was the other vendor who didn't do their part.
