Overall experience was decent as the company who coded our application did an awful job. This doesn't mean the product is bad, but what didn't help was the other vendor who didn't do their part.

    RMS, ReSA, REIM works great. RPM needs work

    We implemented Oracle Retail Merchandising System about 8 years back. The modules that we use are price management, sales audit, invoice matching. Since we are a off-price retailer, we had to make customizations to make the software optimal for our needs. So far it has been working well. The functionalities it provides are very useful for our business. It would be better if some more focus is made on improving RPM overall.

    Oracle Retail from a DBA Perspective

    The internal users of this software seem very satisfied with it, we use RMS, REIM, SIM and other oracle applications. It runs very well on a weblogic server on AIX, the database is 11gR2 and so far we don't have any problems or bugs with this product. The only problem is that in our country there are not many people with expertise on Oracle Retail. We have had some issues with business logic process but we are working on fixing them. So far we are very satisfied with this solution.
