The flexibility of OTM is what I value the most. OTM and GTM are on the same platform, and that helps us tremendously for logistics trade compliance management. Its integration capabilities using REST API make it easy to connect with other systems. The order planning engine is unbeatable and provides the best optimal results for our business.
We do have great service when we have issues and quick responses. The system itself is fairly easy to navigate and overall user friendly.
The unmatched flexibility of OTM enables us to optimize costs, maintain strong security, and tailor logistics solutions across diverse transportation scenarios through the logistics network modeling and machine learning modules.
Reading error logs is an art and that makes analyzing certain planning issues challenging. There are new generation applications that are easier and more intuitive to use and analyze than OTM. I hope the OTM team will use of agentic AI to provide more meaningful and readable logs to analyze the issue.
The things I dislike are where when we have changes with a load, it requires too many steps to make those changes. Ideally some of the loaded data should populate which doesn't always occur.
The reporting framework and integrations require specialized expertise and while large-scale data extraction has been challenging, Oracle's new REST API extraction functionality - which we will be rolling out over the coming year - will largely address this gap.
