The product is highly configurable which can be a plus and a minus. Plus is that you can configure it for your needs, Minus is that it can be complex to make sure it is configured correctly.
ok, the Portfolio / Project overview is good
Configuration possibilities via UI
Out of the box doesn't work - needs to be configured If you don't know how you want to use it you can go down rabbit holes and waste time Screens have functions that aren't intuitive, but work really well once you understand them.
UI is a complete disaster. Not complying to any standard, and not consistent at all!
Request Management needs to be updated (only Legacy Screens) Grant Concept not available on Request Management Static Users without SSO needs to be checked after Sandbox Copy and a Script needs to be executed everytime after sandbox copy.

There are always nice to have Planview Portfolios
As administrator and IT Product Owner I am very happy worth it. Sometimes the system has his hiccups, especially within new implemented stuff but it gets everytime solved really fast and the support is quite good. - Group Product Manager50M-1B USDHardwareReview Source
Poor inconsistent non-intuitive UI with data integrity issues
The poor, non-intuitive, and non-user-friendly UI is a daily PITA (examples no 'undo' in project plan, an analog percent field for a bool milestone flag with wrong error messages, no error correction/flagging with wrong durations, no history,... why does the workprogress not auto-calculate based on finished steps/boards? The forms within the workflow "lifecycle steps" are really bad readable and usability standards are neglected completely, different wordings for the same thing [work <-> project, works and assignments <-> project plan]). With dangerous bugs and bad data integrity (uploading a business case data with a typo overwrites financial data in a different project (where user should have no write permission. Missing history)! Synchronization with ProjectPlace is buggy (some fields only in one direction, some are syncing only two times a day, finished steps in ProjectPlace have to be "checked" (100%) in Portfolios again). - Portfolio Management Lead10B+ USDConsumer GoodsReview Source
Planview Enterprise One - Best tool for Project Portfolio Management
We've been using Planview Enterprise One for time tracking, Work management and Resource management and reporting. It's a great tool, easy to use and adopt. - Sr Digitalization Architect10B+ USDIT ServicesReview Source
overall I do not regret our choice of product but would reconsider a redo on our implement
The tool is super feature rich and most mature organization perhaps rate this tool very highly. We are not a mature organization and while the features we need are available, it's hard to figure out where to start if you're looking to crawl, walk, run in your organization
