The platform exceptional configurability and flexibility have been game-changers for our organization. Combined with truly outstanding support, we've achieved a level of operational independence that we hadn't experienced with previous GRC vendors. This has significantly reduced both our reliance on vendor resources and the associated costs, empowering out internal team to manage and adapt the solution as our needs evolve.
The MY TASK functionality is really good especially for our line 1 users. The mobile phone usage and email configuration is also great. The bulk updates and import export options are so useful for the administration team. The reports and scheduled reports are great, and it is so easy to set up new reports with links between multiple registers.
The product is very good in terms that it has addressed all our requirements when we first bought the system and it is allowing the risk framework to mature as we bring on other registers. It's a great system that is easy to navigate and design.
The user experience could benefit from modernization - certain areas of the interface feel dated and could be more intuitive for end users. Additionally, the compliance management function currently feels underdeveloped and somewhat fragmented. A more cohesive, structured approach to Compliance workflows would strengthen the platform's overall GRC offering.
The KRI functionality is fiddly and having only 1 report collection date based on number of days is difficult to manage when KRIs and Compliance Questionnaires are being used. The Business Unit views for Compliance Questions is also hard.
I had a recent experience where I accidentally deleted a role profile. Protect Support was very quick to help and correct the issue. I feel that Protecht could improve this so that there is a prompt that makes you CONFIRM that you want to make the change. I have made this recommendation.
