Rackspace is useful for when more hands-on managed infrastructure is required and a workload requires less abstraction. The managed services for cloud setup, monitoring and security are useful for when internal teams do not have capacity for these functions.

The service was better than what we had previously with Verizon. Pricing was much lower for same capability. It was easier to upgrade/downgrade capabilities however the process was cumbersome. We had many operational errors triggered by Rackspace, driving the Webshop down on few occasions.
