The principles of openstack are well understood - this is a complex product to implement - RackSpace's roll in that implementation is to remove as much of the complexity as possible to allow a smooth user experience for their customers. They need to really work on educating customers to ensure there are no gaps in understanding - this will help their support operation so its in their intereset
