Restrata's incident management platform is excellent but that is only as good as the people who use it. Restrata have a team, many of who have experience from police and security services, who step up and take control of the response to incidents and emergencies. There is a determined professionalism but at the same time a sense of calmness and control in the room when the team has been mobilised.
The simple, user-friendly interface is very intuitive to use, even on the first time.
1/ An accurate record. 2/ The team can access and view and see the bigger picture 3/ Improves communications across different response teams ie IMT and CMT as CMT can see updates and summary of incident
We have yes to see or experience any weaknesses. We take great solace and confidence that, if we needed to stand up our incident response team or crisis management team, that Restrata would be there to lead the way with authority and calmness and to deliver the best possible response to our company at a time when we most need it.
Lack of customisation options in the general layout of the app. Lack of ability to manage user accounts without having to go via Restrata support. Some Incident and Crisis Manager features, e.g. Briefings and the time zones, are glitchy.
Although easy to use as a heavy user or for users who use often (vendor and Duty Managers). There is a noticeable difficulty accessing and using for those users who rarely use or use less frequently (such as CMT members once or twice a year).

We out-source our emergency response arrangements to Restrata and maintain a cohort of duty managers to respond and support them when mobilised. Fortunately to daye we have never had to mobilise in anger for an event or crisis, but we regularly participate in exercises with Restrata to test our response to incidents, accidents and othe events offshore.
