1. The team that handles our contracts, invoices and inventory is very detail oriented and thorough 2. The Expense Management section of the portal provides great visibility into the current and historical spend. Details are easy to find. 3. The inventory, location details and other information in the Service Management section are also intuitive and provide useful views.
Sakon provides quick responses to our inquiries, they are effective and provide available options for a solution when required.
Their portal is easy to use and the support teams are always eager to assist.
1. Specific relationships between fields in the ordering and allocation process are not defined. For example, the name of a specific GL account and its associated GL code need to be selected independently, which can be error prone. If I select a certain GL account code, it should automatically fill in the correct description and vice-versa. 2. There is too much freeform typing in parts of the forms creating different location addresses due to varying abbreviations or other minor details entered by a user. For example, two locations are generated if one user enters the full word 'Avenue' and someone else abbreviates it to 'Ave.'. 3. The Reporting interface for creating custom reports or views is not intuitive.
Sakon could be faster in the invoicing process to show more accurate spend on a monthly basis.

Their dedication and attention to detail has enabled us to control and reduce costs and maintain accurate records. The portal is intuitive and customizable enough for our needs. The area that needs some improvement is the integration of inventory and billing. The team does a good job of keeping everything up to date, but some automation is needed in this area. The reporting module is not as intuitive as the rest of the platform but does provide useful reports.
