Ariba played a key role in transforming the organization's purchasing processes, especially in strengthening governance, transparency, and the reliability of information. The solution is mainly used for indirect purchases, supporting all negotiations with suppliers, always in a structured manner and adhering to compliance policies and requirements. Before contracting Ariba, the processes were more decentralized and less viable. With the platform, it was possible to standardize workflows, centralize negotiations, and increase control over purchasing decisions. The overall experience is very positive, with clear gains in organization, traceability, and process maturity. - Manager, Strategy50M-1B USDMiscellaneousReview Source
Systematic Process Controls in Procurement With SAP Ariba Versus Limited Customization
Overall, my experience with SAP has been that it drives strong process discipline and automation in procurement execution, particularly requisition and approval workflows with consistent action-based notifications and visibility. Ariba is a solid enterprise platform for enforcing process controls - approvals and transaction routing are systematic and auditable - but day-to-day success depends heavily on how well onboarding and integrations are tuned. - Procurement Manager1B-10B USDManufacturingReview Source
Powerful procurement Suite enabling visibility, control and process standardization
The platform has significantly enhanced procurement efficiency by streamlining sourcing, vendor management and invoicing processes in a structured and transparent manner. The seamless integration with S/4HANA has enabled better data visibility and control, while automation of key workflows has reduced manual efforts and improved TAT. With increased flexibility in product customization to better accommodate evolving business requirements, SAP ARIBA has the potential to be the most comprehensive solution for managing the entire supply chain lifecycle end-to-end. - PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGER1B-10B USDConsumer GoodsReview Source
Ariba brings clear cost benefits, but at the expense of frustrating end user experience
SAP Ariba has been rolled out across the company over the last couple of years, and almost without exception day to day users have complained of difficulty using the system, even though almost all are fully in support of the rationale for a central purchasing tool such as this. Of course, it has yielded cost saving benefits that have made it ultimately worthwhile, but the taste in the mouth left by the transition, largely down to the tool itself, do not make this a tool I would recommend at this time. - PROCUREMENT MANAGER10B+ USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
SAP Ariba Enhances Sourcing/Procurement Efficiency Despite UI and Integration Challenges
SAP Ariba provides agencies with unified sourcing, automated workflows that are customizable, supplier transparency, and real-time spend control. A great tool to help reduce costs, improve compliance, centralize spend visibility, and speed up procurement decisions and processes.
