I like the scale and complexity usage of the SAP applications we utilize. Our org has over 1,000 servers connected with different customer and third-party systems. We have highly complex customizations and integrations across the business enterprise. Our Enterprise has experienced near-zero downtime with over 150 SAP applications in use
With all the money at your disposal for change orders and development, this solution can do just about anything you want. The UI is fairly customizable, as are all of the data-entry forms and related workflows. Managing the Master Asset List data is also fairly straightforward.
The speed allows us to run complex financial reports and inventory checks in seconds rather than hours. It provides a seamless flow of data across finance, supply chain and HR, eliminating silos between departments.
Implementation and infrastructure costs are based on the fiscal budget to set aside for the additional expenses for upgrades and newer versions. The learning curve of the system can be difficult to navigate as an user when it comes to interface and system workflows, especially if customization is needed for business needs.
Active development and improvements for this solution are lacking, or slow at best. It could do with a UI/Functionality overhaul for the 2020s.
The setup requires highly specialized consultants; its definitely not a plug-and-play solution. Despite the Fiori UI improvements, the system remains overwhelming for casual users, requiring extensive training.

my suggestion to the sap would be mostly about the appearance of the program, it needs a major update in that section to be able to use it more efficiently with excel
