Real time monitoring of the assets as well as maintaining the health of the assets is what I like most about this tool. These features have made my job very easy to manage all my assets and get proper visibility about how my assets are performing and if any issues come I can realtime rectify it and resolve it.
1 - Handling equipment that is potentially over-maintained 2 - Balancing equipment availability 3 - Managing maintenance costs and risks
The thing that I like most is Asset Tracking feature, where I can track visualization of assets in a real-time, helping me in optimizing asset utilization and improving inventory management. Not only that, Integration of SAP IAM with CRM and other SAP modules, allows me for a unified data flow and helps me to make better decisions.
The learning curve which involves the solution for a new user is what I dislike about the tool. It requires more effort and time to understand and properly utilize the solution.
1 - Multiple data silos 2 - Inconsistent data models across application 3 - Out-of-the-box integration disconnects
Implementation was complex and resource intensive process and employees need comprehensive training to fully harness the potential of SAP IAM.
