I like that SAP Leonardo allows us to analyze data in real-time and predict the required action, this is a critical advantage in the production environment. Another good feature is by nature the integration with other services on SAP cloud platform.
It provides the live data monitoring which is useful for reading the data on cloud at remote location.S4HANA includes and provide more feature in the cloud platform. data collection from sensors provide more optimization process for overall program.
ease in integration of non standard IOT device machinery along with diffused library support along with fast server integration and working.
I found it tricky to use the IoT portal, it takes some time to master how to use it and search for the information you need. It's also not easy to manage big data on SAP it feels like it lacks some tool to help you manage the data. Besides that, the platform lacks integration with datacenters like AWS and Microsoft.
Real time functionality clarity worst i have ever faced. It has not all the functionality where on iot platform is required. integration with platforms other than SAP is not available and this is big issue with SAP iot platform
found difficulty in operating bigger data base and huge piled data which already existed to be uploaded on SAP.

Currently, we use SAP Leonardo IoT in our organization to manage sensors data and analyses it in real-time, data is being collected from different sensors and then stored on server, the data is then being analyzed and information extracted to take the required actions. So far our experience with SAP is good overall. The implementation was not a straightforward process as we work on an old system, we had to deal with many issues to align the system with SAP. We use machine learning on IoT devices to predict if the machines are in need of maintenance or action is required. Eventually, SAP Leonardo allows us to incorporate some modern technology like machine learning and IoT.
