SE Ranking

It's quite a complex tool, with a lot of practical insights e.g. snippets that explain not only what the issue is in practical terms, but also how to fix the issue. Other tools I have used don't always give this detail. As a competitor in a space where the big names are often the go to SE Ranking is a welcome competitor. I am also happy with the new AI Search features and find the site audit reports helpful, with easy-to-apply functionality such as disavowing links. It's easy to track competitors and also see which pages or content is performing well and use this as a benchmark for our own content optimisation. I am satisfied with our choice to use SE Ranking.

The thing I like about this tool is the competitor analysis feature which provides in-depth insights into competitors' strategies, including their keywords, backlinks & even paid ads. The rank tracking features gives you accurate data & you can also customize your reports. Keyword research features also give you the in-depth data of keyword phrases with search volume & keyword difficulty.

Keyword tracking and clear reporting tools.

The sidebar is a bit challenging to get the hang of. For Keyword Research, it would be nice if it was a bit easier to do add keywords from the research part directly to the project you are managing. The content marketing features (add-on) are OK, but could be better suited for things like product pages versus blogs not all content notes or content scores are practical in my opinion. Sometimes it's challenging to manage keyword tracking, but I think that this is more about a learning curve and having someone that takes the time to really learn the tool.

While all the features are great to use, I feel the site audit tool could be a bit more detailed. Like for e.g., I noticed that it doesn't dig deep into certain technical aspects like JavaScript rendering and also the content gap analysis could be improved. These are some minor issues, but for advanced users, they can make a difference.

It would be great to be able to include custom GA4 reports/explorations (as set up in GA4) into the Project Reports. As it stands you can only choose those already set up by SERanking. I'd like SOME kind of AIO reporting without having to pay a significant step up from my current plan. I appreciate it's new and demand will be high, but maybe some sort of middle ground, perhaps with limited reporting or limited numbers of domains to include? The project audit reports could also be styled a little better - SEOptimer produce very clear site/page audits which are clear, thorough and styled a little more professionally. SERanking lags behind here.
