Semperis Active Directory Forest Recovery

The main value of the tool is that it just works and is easy to use. In critical events where you would need to use a tool like this, you want it to be reliable and effective. On top of that, Semperis does provide excellent client services. You will have very knowledgeable people helping you from design to implementation to support.

Clear directions about vulnerabilities and what to do. Has been very simple implementation. Easy collaboration with vendor through phone and dedicated sharepoint site.

Semperis gives exceptional client service. You are never left alone to your own devices to try and figure out how the product works. The Client Success teams ensure the service is up and running, have monthly meetings with you, and sits with you at least twice a tear to test restores of the environment.

There's nothing really to complain about from either the product or the company perspective. If I really had to choose a few things, some user interface sections could be improved, or having the capability to back up in other cloud providers outside of Azure.

Backing up multiple forests is not intuitive. The interface for backup scheduling could be better. There's no interface for alerting beyond the daily status email. An API that we could query the status of backups to display or integrate with other tools would be helpful.

To be honest I really tried to come up with any dislike to the product. I can only get to one, and that is really nitpicking, and that might be the price. But to put this in context. This is the only company that truly does Active Directory. It does not do backup for 300 products, and Active Directory is one of them, they do backups of Active Directory and Active Directory only. They are the experts, and with that expertise sometimes comes a price tag. We are happy to pay that.
