I love having access to the mstrio library via Python. This has been a huge help this year and is driving us to update legacy processes. Being able to create free-form SQL cubes allows for rapid development and prototyping. Finally, I appreciate the speed at which I can create dashboards.

Currently there is no easy way to migrate an older Report Services Document to a newer Dashboard type. User security (via security filters) has to be managed by us through a homebrew process and is quite unwieldy. There is no native process for large-batch cube job scheduling and management. There is no native monitoring platform to assist with monitoring the health of the environment.
