Great people who are technically adept and also good at interpersonal communication. Very responsive to issues and questions. Very realistic with delivery dates and always meets the dates or delivers early.
1) Works as part of, and alongside, the Accelerate team. 2) Understands standard SAP functionality
TCS has strong domain expertise in SAP S4HANA and focuses on leveraging the standard features of SAP instead of customization which fits the business needs.
While I appreciate the direct communication with the business users and leaders, I'd prefer to be kept more involved and be the point person to work with instead of being worked around. Sometimes there seems to be a lack of cohesiveness across the various TCS teams - one group within TCS may do something differently than how another group works. At times the turnover of personnel can be challenging to keep track of! However, the TCS leadership does keep us generally well informed.
1) They are more followers than leaders. They do not provide industry best practice insight and encourage us to follow. Our solution is very customized when it should be more standardized. 2) Varying technical & soft skills of the resources. Some resources provide excellent value, some provide more confusion than they do help. When very specific feedback is given, we do not see improvement in the resources.
Sometimes, TCS team members engage directly with business users without adequately involving the client partners, leading to communication gaps and siloed approach to solution design and decision making.
