The team is very available and attentive to all matters urgent and non-urgent
1) Works as part of, and alongside, the Accelerate team. 2) Understands standard SAP functionality
Great people who are technically adept and also good at interpersonal communication. Very responsive to issues and questions. Very realistic with delivery dates and always meets the dates or delivers early.
Onboarding of right resources can take a long time, and to fill the roles sometimes we take our 2nd or 3rd choice candidates for the time being, and needing to switch them out later.
1) They are more followers than leaders. They do not provide industry best practice insight and encourage us to follow. Our solution is very customized when it should be more standardized. 2) Varying technical & soft skills of the resources. Some resources provide excellent value, some provide more confusion than they do help. When very specific feedback is given, we do not see improvement in the resources.
While I appreciate the direct communication with the business users and leaders, I'd prefer to be kept more involved and be the point person to work with instead of being worked around. Sometimes there seems to be a lack of cohesiveness across the various TCS teams - one group within TCS may do something differently than how another group works. At times the turnover of personnel can be challenging to keep track of! However, the TCS leadership does keep us generally well informed.

However, the team lacks thought leadership and does not promote, encourage or enforce industry best practices. Love the TCS team very much, although it took some time to nail down the 'A' team (few years). But very very happy with the team I have now in place, and this team has been renewed year after year. It was a slow start, but it comes down to the organization knowing what skills they need, and interviewing a lot and interviewing well to put the right team in place.
