1). Instead of skills on RESUME, it gives us a clearer view on the skills Candidate holds. 2). Straight forward yet the variety of test assessments makes it handy. 3). Screening before the actual interview saves time with TestGorilla. 4). Evaluation based on the skills instead of CVs and Resumes.
The assessment feature is well received and easy to answer. Support was decent and replied quickly. Our organization was looking for and really resonated with the tools ability to eliminate biases for potential candidates.
We found it quite userfriendly and adaptable to some types of candidate and job description.
The main issue is the pre setup which is required to get the most out of it. Designing multiple test trails and calculating score thresholds. Also, alignment of every test according to the role and their requirements. If the team is a bit smaller then cost can also be another reason to dislike.
As a user that partners with admins, I am not fully sure of the usefulness of the system. I think with the challenge of finding jobs nowadays, some candidates may be discouraged to apply because of the system. It might help source some candidates but I worry it can be answered falsely in order to increase chances of selection. Unfortunately, the tests are not fully customizable, so that is something we weren't a huge fan of.
Multi-language versions proved to be complex and not as accurate as we would have wished. The test is very specific, maybe too specific sometimes.
