Was we appreciate most about TierPoint is the stabilit6y, uptime, and security. These were the key factors we looked for in a colocation facility. TierPoint provides multiple layers of redundancy for both power and connectivity, which is essential for our production environment that must remain available around the clock. Physical security is also strong, with several levels of protection in place.
To your point gave us reliable power cooling and network diversity and their DRaaS offering integrated cleanly with our virtualized workloads and supported regular non disruptive test which main audits easier. Their team is available around the clock and the facilities are clean well run and easy to access.
They are attentive to their customers. They do a good job of keeping systems running and connected.
The only thing I dislike about the service is related to something that is also a strength. Access to our servers can sometimes feel cumbersome and slow. The sign in process itself is straight forward, but waiting for someone to come to the door, create an access ticket, issue lanyards, escort us to our cabinet, and unlock it adds extra time. I understand that these steps are important for security, but I wish the process could be a bit smoother/quicker.
Support is good but not exceptional. Initial responses are timely yet deeper troubleshooting or coordinated vendor escalations can be slower than we would like.
They inform their customers about all issues including ones that are impacting other datacenters (not impacting the ones my company uses).

We have been a customer for more than a decade, and our uptime has consistently been 99.99%. it is a tremendous relief not to worry about the fundamentals of the environment, power, cooling, and connectivity have all been top notch. We have used TierPoint for several years across colocation and DRaaS. Uptime and facility quality have been consistently strong, and DRaaS worked as expected. Support is responsive, but not the best we have dealt with. Escalations can sometimes be challenging. As a datacenter provider, TierPoint works well. I feel my company's assets are secured in our cage space even though there are plenty of other customers within the same room.
