Our experience with Unily has been very positive, particularly in enabling us to bring together a complex, distributed workforce during a period of significant organizational change. As we navigated a large-scale merger, Unily provided a centralized, scalable platform that allowed us to deliver timely, targeted communications while maintaining a consistent employee experience.

The Unily product is good especially compared to alternatives available on the market, but the onboarding experience was challenging and their service is challenging. If you select this vendor be prepared to manage them heavily. Most of their staff are new and not well trained on the product. Their default answer is always to look at their customer community forum, but many of the articles lack a necessary level of detail to actually be useful.

    Efficient Upgrades, Product Innovations, Help Small Teams Maximize Potential

    As a small team we find using the CMS pretty straight forward and training others is not too bad. However, at the moment we aren't taking full advantage of all the features and updates the product has to offer. Through tailored meetings and guidance, I feel that our customer manager has done an amazing job at keeping us updated and motivated. We had productive sessions on looking to the future and ways we can improve not only our employee expereince with the product but also how we can become more efficient as a team and work smarter using technology.

    Unparalleled Support and Collaborative Features: A Client's Experience

    My experience with Unily has been fantastic. The service has been exceptional and the support is second to none. Our CSM is always on hand to answer questions, solve queries and generally bounce ideas off. They've encouraged us to collaborate with their other customers, also, to help one another with our experiences. In terms of the product, I am an absolute advocate of Unily. I have seen it evolve over the years, going from strength to strength in terms of its product offering; well designed and useful features, engagement widgets, user experiences and more.

Like

Unily has helped us strengthen organizational alignment, support culture-building, and create a more connected employee experience. The flexibility of the platform also allows us to continuously evolve our content strategy and adapt to changing business needs. Like any platform, there have been moments that required creativity and close partnership with the vendor to navigate technical challenges.

Product is highly configurable, large selection of widgets, and has many solid Microsoft 365 integrations available out of the box.

Dislike

While our overall experience has been positive, there are a few areas where the platform could improve. At times, the backend content management experience can be less intuitive than expected, particularly when working with widgets and page layouts. Updates or changes to components can require extra steps or technical workarounds, which can slow down content creation and require additional support from technical or vendor teams.

Customer service and consulting are subpar.

The added cost from professional services for minor configurations, as it is outside of our budget often.
