As referenced above, the ability we have to seamlessly and positively affect customer behaviour to help drive conversions and revenue has been game-changing for our business. The ease and speed with which we went from initial pitch to go-live was excellent, and unexpected for something so in-depth.
Steep Learning Curve: Requires significant technical expertise to get up and started and to optimize. Cost: Can become expensive at scale, especially with high query volumes. Requires careful monitoring. Limited documentation: Google has never had great documentation and this is no exception, especially for advanced use cases.
I think customization for user experience could be better. I would like better display settings in how well it integrates to other system settings. I would like better communication for troubleshooting.
The scalability of this is a concern, as it suits a smaller site like ours, however with a larger site with hundreds or thousands of products, I can see a world where the 'product-pairing' and it's other features get very convoluted. The initial navigation of the platform also takes a bit of getting used to, but this could partially be put down to my relative inexperience working with platforms of this nature.
