1. vMotion 2. High Availability & Fault Tolerance 3. Centralized Management through vCenter Server
What I like most about vSphere is that I can easily manage all my virtual machines at once. Also, with one click I can create, start or stop them without needing an extra physical server. The backup feature is so reliable that now I don't have to worry about data loss. If anything happens I can restore the previous state in no time. Using vSphere client I can access and manage my virtual machines remotely which lets me do work even if I am not on my desktop.
Easy management, load balanced, offers complete suite of services to manage HCI at on-prem
1. Cost & Licensing 2. Steep Learning Curve 3. Updates and Patches Can Be Problematic
I noticed that vSphere requires a lot of resources to run smoothly. Updating it is a tricky task also I got worried that an update may cause any kind of issue or reduce the performance of my virtual machines.
