Windows Server 2022 Edition Likes & Dislikes
Three things stand out the most with Windows Server 2022. The first thing is the improved security with Secured-Core Server. Anyone in the telecom industry knows how important this is, especially with features like virtualization-based security. Other things I like are better hybrid cloud integration and improved SMB performance.
I like that it brings a newer version than windows 2016, which is a bit outdated. I'm sure it comes with more features that can be utilized as well.
Easy to manage, simple to administer with powerful tools and functionalities.
They really need to improve the GUI. I feel like it's lagging behind UX trends. For me it's not a major concern since I work with PowerShell, however, if you rely on GUI heavily it could be problematic.
I dislike that the new features aren't really shown without researching it. Unlike Windows 11 (from Windows 10), the new features aren't put right in front of your face so now I have to go out and find what is new compared to the older version.
sometimes an outdated UI and some complex gpos. windows update could be better too.

Windows Server 2022 Enhances Security and Performance but GUI Feels Outdated
I have been using Windows Server 2022 since upgrading from the 2019 version. I have been using it mainly for managing infrastructure, domain controls, even network file access as well as a variety of other things. Compared to the 2019 version, this one feels more refined and offers better stability. I especially enjoy its security features and hybrid cloud readiness. - CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER50M-1B USDTravel and HospitalityReview Source
