Overall experience has been great, have been using Windsurf for a couple of months now. The efficiency has increased tremendously after introducing it. There's still some room for refinement but worth 4 stars.

The concept is great. Execution falls somewhat flat because of the underlying issues with LLMs. Inability to consistently deliver good results. Struggles with large context for existing legacy systems. Homegrown agents deliver poorer results than general models.

I like how Windsurf can make changes to your system on the fly to support your development environment
At times, the performance slows down when working with larger projects due to large heap size consumption, which makes the entire agent slow.
Windsurf struggles with large context, tool calls failing repeatedly, and most importantly just outright ignoring instructions in the agent mode.
