The concept is great. Execution falls somewhat flat because of the underlying issues with LLMs. Inability to consistently deliver good results. Struggles with large context for existing legacy systems. Homegrown agents deliver poorer results than general models.

The intuitive interface is the best along with seamless collaboration features. It's super easy to onboard new users to the platform. Also, MCP integrations w/ existing tooling is amazing plus.
Automated workflows, persistent memories, and a good UI for engaging with code systems.
What I like most if how clean and responsive the interface is, along with how seamlessly WIndsurf's AI features fit into the coding workflow.
At times, the performance slows down when working with larger projects due to large heap size consumption, which makes the entire agent slow.
Windsurf struggles with large context, tool calls failing repeatedly, and most importantly just outright ignoring instructions in the agent mode.
Integrations with more third-party tools and version control platforms would make it even stronger.
