The system lets us make detailed changes to our academic programmes which matches our school's needs. The system generates useful details about student populations and results from course assessments.
The Student module is part of a larger, fully interconnected system. The same data field is presented in multiple locations, connecting Finance with Student Finance, HR with Academic Faculty, and HR with Student Worker. This allows for cross-institution reporting and business process setup. The UI is easy to navigate and often intuitive for student users. Security is flexible, allowing for tight restrictions as well as wide access. All aspects of a student's lifecycle, from matriculation to conferral, are straightforward to administer and easy to view on a student's record.
New Ideation Hub for customer input, has Artificial Intelligence behind it, but customers lack visibility to where their idea is in the pipeline and what ideas other customers have submitted. We believe more improvements are coming on this.
The current platform has serious problems transferring data correctly between Workday Student and older external systems. Different systems produce separate data stores that need to be manually checked and matched between them.
Connecting activity pay to course instruction is possible but has challenges around automation. For complete student support and advising, a third party system is still needed for robust handling of flags and follow-up.
