Writer Likes & Dislikes
it seems easier to use and has better output than other common and well known platforms. i think theyve customized the applications and workflows and that enables a higher quality output.
I liked that the system allows you to instantly add your certificate badge to your LinkedIn profile. That's a big incentive for completing the course because it shows to others what you're proficient in.
We upload a brief and it produces content based on on our style guidelines and formatting.
i do not dislike it at all.
It's buggy and the content generated is unreliable. We have to always double check whatever the robot generates because we've noticed that 50% of the time it's generated concepts that are inaccurate or it has represented an article in a misleading way. It does not do well with rules surrounding character counts and it does not always follow our style guide.
It's a bit difficult to customize our own AI apps without the direct support of Writer.

Addressing the User Experience Concerns in Writer's Training Modules
I know this is a five year old startup so do take my feedback with a grain of salt as I understand that the Writer platform is evolving weekly. Small user experience related pain points in regard to the trainings Writer offers: content/verbiage/display of programs is out of date. Using the training modules was cumbersome to get it to show that the modules were completed. Took a long time to figure out that you have to click the tiny "x" in the top left corner in order to get the system to recognize that you completed a module as clicking the big button in the center that was supposed to take you to the next thing did not trigger the system to recognize that the user had completed said module.
