- Great Scalability - Huge Community - Intuitive GUI for the actual user of the system
Suited for users who prefer Terminal and command line Forums and Community can help but they are very slow to respond.
I love using Zabbix because I can monitor everything in one place such as checking servers and networks. If anything goes wrong it sends me an alert right away.
The GUI could get a refresh to loke more modern. But this actually is only a cosmetic thing. It's intuitive and that matters most. The dependency handling is one of the weaknesses of the tool. There no easy dependencies managed by the structure. Instead we ended up with scripting the so called trigger dependencies to fulfil our needs
Setting up a front end server using MySQL to have a web GUI portal can be long and time consuming. Steep learning curve using Terminal/Bash along with online tutorials and various tools. Very steep cost to have support write new templates/migrate data from the existing platform.
The user interface is not modern and sometimes sends me a lot of notifications regarding alerts which is a disturbance.
