A great tool for network segmentation that can be used in surprising ways!
The implementation of the product was extremely well done by the vendor. We had a tight timeline and they were able to be in meetings with us for 4 hours daily to work through the process allowing us to meet strict deadlines. Implementation team was amazing and was there when we needed them for questions\help. The software provides great data center visibility and isolation for sensitive applications. It can even work with devices that change IP addresses, although some time to update the allow list is obviously needed, though usually just seconds. Post implementation we had a few issues with downtime, but that was remedied by Illumio and we have not had the issue in years. We were an early adopter of the government cloud for illumio so some hiccups were expected.
