Its greatest strength is its greatest weakness. If you're all in on ServiceNow, you'll appreciate how well everything is connected and joined together. But that means that it's setup and maintained in a very complex fashion. The end user will have a good experience, but the administrator will have a steep learning curve if new to ServiceNow. Much of the EC Pro functionality is very dated and lacks the experience and capabilities of a modern CMS solution.

it's not about having features, it's about leveraging them effectively we have utilized the todo's by integrating with external source (workday).. we have also utilized campaigns for announcing and keeping the employees informed about upcoming important cycles (like goal setting and performance cycles)

Since we already use ServiceNow for IT and HR, the integration of knowledge is very beneficial for our users to have only one place to go to search for content.

ServiceNow is very customizable! With ServiceNow developers we can build out most use cases.

should bring more improvements as a pro package as compared to the Employee center so that enterprise gains the ROI on the EC Pro license.

Very difficult to maintain and manage content. Additionally, the user experience is inconsistent. From a content perspective, there's no cohesive authoring experience. While the product has core functionality, you can tell it is still a young product that hasn't been refined and doesn't match other intranet platform capabilities. Document management capabilities are definitely lacking.

The need for a developer vs non-dev build options.
