Challenges with negotiating the CMP element, and changes even when the issue has been on the opti side which is incredibly frustrating. Significant challenges on Opti Graph meaning we are going to be moving away from that solution.

Flexible, scalable content modelling and multi-channel delivery. Tight integration with Optimizely for experimentation, in-context personalization, and A/B testing. Headless friendly delivery APIs (Graph/REST) and compatibility with Frontend hosting for fast deployments. Editor experience and media library for authoring, localization and workflow controls.

Reliability, very limited down time and good security

The features or strengths that standout the most about Optimizely are the custom visual elements so I can build components myself without relying on the development team to code. I can create and save templates to use, which makes publishing quicker. The interactive preview allows me to see and test everything and interact with the page as a visitor would. Automated workflows improve the reviewing and approving process when many stakeholders are involved.

Initial setup and learning curve can be steep. Content modeling and migration can become complex for large catalogs or legacy content. Editor UI can feel sluggish with very large datasets or intricate workflows. Incident management support is limited when it comes to outage scenarios.

Integration between CMP and CMS is very basic and limited. This needs to be improved to fully benefit from the workflow. Not being able flex the user base for the CMP product. Incredibly limiting. Opti Graph implementation has been disappointing, not delivering the AI functionality we were expecting

The learning curve can be complex with all the features the platform offers. Some modules have limited flexibility. Some reporting features lack analytic depth.
