Having the ability to download the phone app on my cell phone. No need for a desktop and/or a physical phone
The fact that our end users have the choice of mobile, soft phone, or a hardware based handset.
System allows for a hybrid setup, on premises and in the cloud. Ability to transfer calls from phone to desktop to cell phone app and not drop the call. You can set up extensions just about anywhere there is an internet connection
With a mac, if you use the desktop app, it's not always working well
The latest upgrade to version 20 has been a challenge. The admin interface has changed location/method of making configuration changes and has added time to that process. Reassigning a phone to a new user is a pain...
We had to have the setup configuration of IVR's and Groups by a 3CX vendor. Major additions or subtractions need to be done by the 3CX vendor. Had connectivity issues with the desk phones not negotiating through our firewalls.
