I have found Microsoft Teams to be an innovative solution that has transformed how we communicate and collaborate across production, quality control, procurement and supply chain functions. Our workforce is dynamic and modern, with teams operating onsite in the factory and remotely across different locations. Ms Teams provides us with a centralized communication and information sharing hub that makes it easy for everyone to work together in realtime. Through video meetings, instant messaging and team channels we are able to coordinate production schedules, discuss quality issues and align with vendors and suppliers without delays. The ability to share documents, SOPs, batch records and compliance files within one platform has improved accountability and transparency across departments. It has also reduced back and forth emails and ensured that critical production information is available to authorized stakeholders at any time. Even when working remotely, our productivity remains high since we are able to host production review meetings, supplier negotiations and cross functional planning sessions seamlessly which help accelerate decision making and help us run our manufacturing workflows without any communication gaps. RingCentral is quite a change from our old system. We had a great transition team that helped us with many technical hurdles along the way and helped map over 600 users from our old system to the new one. There were some less than ideal outcomes during the build and transition period where some things unintentionally slipped through the cracks, but the positives have outweighed the negatives so far. My technical support contact at RC has been extremely helpful over the past several months as I try to refine the system now that it's fully implemented. We had 50 years of various system and locations that had to be integrated into one and the Webex Setup Assist program helped us do this Webex Calling migration. There was a lot of legacy infrastructure that we had to migrate, which meant more complex elements to consider with the migration. We didn't want any service interruptions to our patients and this was achieved. We also wanted our team to not experience any issues with the transition and the Webex platform allowed us to have bolt systems run in tandem as we were working through the transition and cut over. Typically, you're not allowed to have this licensing grace but we were provided this with Cisco. We had more flexibility in our deployment. We received white glove service from Fleur and Tony, which was above and beyond from any vendor I've ever worked with, and it was by far the best experience. We did shop around and consider other vendors but their offerings were not nearly as comprehensive and the support on the implementation side was not there. We were using Cisco UC phones which could easily migrate to the cloud. If you're already a Cisco customer with endpoints, you can easily migrate to the cloud which helped save us money. The hardware was similar to what we were using prior with Cisco which helped ease the migration and transition with our end users too. The soft phone application within Webex Calling is also similar to what we had with Jabber so not a lot of end user training was required. It was a seamless cutover. 98% of our endpoints were compatible with Webex Calling easily migrated over which allowed us to avoid spending on additional hardware.
