1.Simple and efficient administration: the management console is intuitive and tasks like creating extensions, configuring call flows or updating trunks can be done quickly without unnecessary complexity; 2.Flexible deployment model: the option to run it on-premise, in a private cloud or on a Linux/Windows OS gives customers the freedom to match their infrastructure strategy; 3.Strong value for money: Compared to other PBX solutions, licensing is predictable and cost-efficient, especially for customers who need call queues, IVRs, or remote extensions without heavy add-on costs.

The fact that our end users have the choice of mobile, soft phone, or a hardware based handset.

Pricing Model: The simultaneous call licensing instead of per-user pricing offers massive savings as we scale. Deployment Flexibility: Being able to host on our own Linux/Windows servers or use 3CXs hosted service gives us great control. Mobile App & Remote Work: The iOS/Android apps are seamless, allowing our team to stay connected without needing physical desk phones.

1.Limited built-in reporting: the native reporting tools cover basic needs, but more advanced analytics often require third-party solutions; 2. Security configuration requires careful handling: while the product can be secured effectively, it relies heavily on proper firewall rules, SIP protection, and periodic audits. Less experienced teams may overlook key settings; 3. Updates can affect custom setups: major version upgrades occasionally require rechecking integrations or reconfiguring certain features, which adds operational overhead for environments with custom call flows.

Dislike

The latest upgrade to version 20 has been a challenge. The admin interface has changed location/method of making configuration changes and has added time to that process. Reassigning a phone to a new user is a pain...

Technical Documentation: The help guides can be overly technical for non-VoIP experts; some how-to articles are fragmented. Basic Reporting: The native reporting is functional but lacks the deep analytics found in more expensive enterprise competitors. V20 Admin Changes: Some configuration settings were moved or simplified in the latest version, which made the initial upgrade path a bit confusing for our IT staff.
