Market Presence: Endpoint Management Tools, Vulnerability Assessment

Overview

Product Information on Action1

Updated 16th February 2026

What is Action1?

Action1 is a cloud-based software designed for endpoint management and security. The software enables organizations to automate patch management, deploy and update software, and monitor endpoint configuration across Windows devices. Action1 helps address the challenge of managing distributed endpoints by providing features for real-time visibility, remote control, and compliance reporting, aimed at reducing vulnerabilities caused by unpatched or misconfigured systems. It supports policy enforcement and remediation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce security risks associated with unmanaged devices.

Action1 Pricing

Action1 is a software that follows a subscription-based pricing model with multiple tiers based on the number of endpoints managed. The software typically offers plans that include features such as patch management and remote monitoring, and pricing is determined by the quantity of devices or endpoints selected. There may be an option for a free tier with limited functionality, and additional costs apply for higher volume usage or advanced capabilities.

Transitioning from a traditional on-premise setup to Action1 has been a transformative experience for our IT operations. Currently managing fewer than 100 endpoints, with the flexibility to scale up to 200, required a tool that could bridge the gap between office-based and remote devices. Action1 has seamlessly filled that void, moving us away from the limitations of VPN-dependent management. The implementation was remarkably swift, taking less than a week to fully integrate into our daily workflow. It has effectively modernized our endpoint management strategy while remaining exceptionally cost-effective.

Like

The platform's greatest strength is its ability to provide enterprise-grade visibility and control without the need for complex infrastructure. Specifically: 1. Comprehensive Vulnerability Management: The integration of CVS-based data into the dashboard allows for proactive security patching rather than reactive troubleshooting. 2. Versatile Remote Access: Having native remote desktop capabilities built directly into the management console eliminates the need for separate, third-party support tools. 3. Cloud-Native Flexibility: The ability to manage and update remote endpoints outside the corporate network without requiring a VPN has significantly improved our patch compliance and response times.

Some updates fail and I have to login to the console to find out. We have had a few PCs restart during the day after a scheduled update but I think that was because of the 4 hour delay with a logged in user which we should be able to adjust. Software packages seems a little more involved into getting them to show up under the updates needed section.
