Endpoint automatic patch deployment (APD) to accommodate various scenarios. It is flexible in that it not only allows for scheduling using the policies in their tasks (named configurations), but also in their APD. The dashboard on patches and threats is also useful for a quick glance at the total number of vulnerabilities, over time, and their severity.

Read Full ReviewBeyond the ManageEngine service itself providing some excellent tools to help us with upgrading computers to Windows 11, it's been a huge help overall. Aspects such as having a better semi-automated management system for our domain joined and mobile devices, being able to push updates far more easily than using an old SCCM service, and just general ease of use have been great. On top of all that, a personal favourite of mine is the effortless access to the command line and PowerShell for any active Windows computer. Being able to just directly access that without having to either use a form of remote assistance or RDP into a user's computer is so nice I can't imagine how I lived without it before now.
Read Full ReviewI am unable to create dynamic groups created using the same inventory filter criteria as they are not available. I had to export a filtered list to a file and then import it into a static group to have the same devices that are currently in use to begin a task. I hope there is a push to make the filter and group criteria universal to allow seamless integration into other scenarios such as only include devices that have the agents status live. Another is that I hope there is more admin control and transparency on the tasks each client device is currently running as supposed to a generic remark. I find it impractical to have to wait for a test deployment when the destination device has just started and is stuck for quite some time when the other task being pushed to run at time only takes at most a few seconds to complete. A better approach would be to have admin the ability to reorder the priority or manage the list of tasks currently being conducted on a specific target. The last one is what was mentioned in the overall comment as to having the current software settings when auto-update is enabled for a specific package.
Read Full ReviewEven though the tool is fantastic, the interface can feel a bit confusing if you're new to it. Plus, it's not the cheapest option out there with all the other additional add-on's.
Read Full ReviewHonestly, I haven't come across many issues as of yet. The only minor complaint I've had so far was a link in the section that showed computers compatible with upgrading to Windows 11 taking me to the instructions for a clean Windows 11 installation instead of the instructions to perform the in-place upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11. However, working with a support staff member sorted that out right away for me and we're now flying through the upgrades.

Useful Patch Deployment and Reporting, Limited Group Creation and Task Control
It works well for our environment from image creation and/or deployment to endpoint inventory and patch management. The software deployment is also quite nice in that there are available packages that can be deployed with the option of having it automatically updated as new versions come out to not have to keep track of the latest build on each application. I just hope that the custom settings (such as product keys and/or install presets) added to each software package does carry over to the next instance as it breaks the operation whenever a new version is added as there is no notification to the administrators whenever a new package is updated. These software packages can also be used by having them be available in the self-service portal (as an on-demand feature on the client end) to have users install/pull packages as needed (can be used for testing) as supposed to the deployment (push) from the server. It also comes with other utilities such as remote desktop and terminal for further user support and/or endpoint administration. Another tool is the remote shutdown and/or start-up (via Wake-On-Lan, if clients are configured) to be scheduled as well. Reporting is useful for a quick and/or detailed view of any task, patch deployment, inventory query, etc. - IT Service Desk Supervisor50M-1B USDManufacturingReview Source
After years of using separate management tools, having it all available in ManageEngine is a game changer.
Working with ManageEngine technical staff has been great. For both our on-boarding training for the our ManageEngine system and all subsequent support followup tickets we've received nothing but excellent service. - UNKNOWNTITLE50M-1B USDIT ServicesReview Source
Quarterly Health Checks and Detailed Recommendations Enhance Manage Engine Experience
My overall Manage Engine experience has been truly excellent and positive. They simplify our patching, vulnerability, software deployment and security compliance concerns. It supports multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux and MacOS, and the process is straightforward as well. Now I know why they are called the Best UEM solution because they unified all our problems in just one click " boom" solved making it particularly attractive for organizations with mixed environments and security driven priorities. - IT AssociateGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source
User-Friendly Interface And Easy Device Enrollment With ManageEngine Desktop Central
This has been one of the best products I have used in a long time. We have been using ManageEngine for a little over a year and have very few problems with it. Setting up ManageEngine Desktop Central was not difficult at all. The system is very user friendly and has a clean, understandable and navigatable interface. Enrolling users and their devices is a breeze, as is pushing updates and policies to them. And if you should run into an issue and you need to get a hold of technical support.....they are AMAZING! They are extremely courteous and knowledgeable and will do whatever it takes to make sure your environment is up and running the way it should be. Of all the tech support staff I have worked with, I have never had a bad experience with ManageEngine. - IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST<50M USDBankingReview Source
