Cost effective solution. Strong security capabilities and a good comprehensive solution if you need device-based management rather than user-based.
It is an industry proven product that has gone through a maturing process.
We were able to set this up with the customer's Azure AD. Admins are able to track and monitor all the devices at one place. It ensures devices stay compliant as per company policy. Our customer was able to use the compliance management feature to quickly check non-compliant devices.
Vendor support is always a challenge. The licensing is quite rigid. Migration challenge from WS1 to another platform. Sometimes the device enrollment process is delayed during the HUB client installation and device sync to platform.
The user interface is not intuitive and can be very confusing. It also lacks some features that are necessary for a clean integration into other security systems like a SIEM.
It's sometimes difficult for new users to learn about the application as the documentation is limited. It is best suited for medium to large customers. The dashboard is not that intuitive and doesn't give the required details immediately and admin has to deep dive and navigate to get the statistics. When we implemented it for one of our customers, some users reported lag in connecting to the network. Licensing is sometimes difficult to understand and you need to negotiate.
