It works well for our environment from image creation and/or deployment to endpoint inventory and patch management. The software deployment is also quite nice in that there are available packages that can be deployed with the option of having it automatically updated as new versions come out to not have to keep track of the latest build on each application. I just hope that the custom settings (such as product keys and/or install presets) added to each software package does carry over to the next instance as it breaks the operation whenever a new version is added as there is no notification to the administrators whenever a new package is updated. These software packages can also be used by having them be available in the self-service portal (as an on-demand feature on the client end) to have users install/pull packages as needed (can be used for testing) as supposed to the deployment (push) from the server. It also comes with other utilities such as remote desktop and terminal for further user support and/or endpoint administration. Another tool is the remote shutdown and/or start-up (via Wake-On-Lan, if clients are configured) to be scheduled as well. Reporting is useful for a quick and/or detailed view of any task, patch deployment, inventory query, etc. Read all insights and reviews for ManageEngine Endpoint Central

The reason behind my rating is because I neither hate nor love Microsoft Intune. I think it's a great product for my organization because we are already so deeply invested in the Microsoft ecosystem, it just makes sense for us to go with Microsoft Intune for managing our devices. I really enjoy having a product that integrates so deeply with other products so in this case having integrations between Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender is perfect to cover our user and device surface. Microsoft's documentation around Intune is pretty good for the most part and I was able to learn it on my own and implement it for my company with little to no huge roadblocks. Once we got a process down, migrating our devices over was easy and I really enjoyed the easy interface across all platforms for configuring profiles and applications. Some of the pain points of Intune though is the speed of device actions and syncing, slow release of updates, and unclear communication from Microsoft. There are definitely areas where Microsoft should have better answers, such as licensing. It's still very unclear how userless licensing works with Intune and if all users need to be licensed for a feature even if they don't use it. An example would be when you purchase an additional service such as Enterprise App Catalog, it activates the feature for the entire tenant meaning you could deploy these apps to users who don't have an Enterprise App Management license. Now of course that seems incorrect, but it works. Microsoft should have a better explanation and a better process for licensing these types of services in a way that makes sense to the customer. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience with Intune and I feel it is easy to learn and understand, however there are several pain points that need adjusted.Read all insights and reviews for Microsoft Intune

Jamf Pro is extremely powerful overall. It has a wide variety of things it can manage directly from the product GUI, plus it has the capability to include shell scripts and custom XML for configuration and maintenance. We had used the on-premises product for quite some time and just recently migrated to the cloud product.Read all insights and reviews for Jamf Pro

I would give the overall experience a 4.5 out of 5, the software gives the admin the right to manage the devices and they all work perfectly. Below are some of the services that can be done with this software. Networkbinding, timefencing, sofware installation, locking of the device, remote connection, controlling the device, giving access to only a few applications and so on. Geofencing has some limitations and the response time for geofencing is slow.Read all insights and reviews for SureMDM
