1. Flexible multi-brand architecture Whether you operate multiple brands or a single program, Adestra's workspace and project structure is exceptionally well designed. It allows you to organise campaigns logically under a master account, while maintaining clear separation between brands, streams etc. 2. Strong data compliance and governance controls The ability to manage shared or isolated core tables (data repositories) is a major advantage. It supports robust data segmentation, consent management, and suppression logic - reducing compliance risk and ensuring the right data is for the right brand. 3. Transparent Reporting Reporting is comprehensive and accessible: From high-level performance reviews for leadership through to granular insights such as engagement, device and geo data. 4. Human Support Additionally, and my personal favourite; Adestra's Software AND a Service approach stands out. Direct access to knowledgeable human support (no AI gatekeeping) is invaluable, especially when dealing with time sensitive deliverability or campaign issues.
It is easy to use and figure out.
Adestra works well for managing large databases and complex audience segmentation and performs reliably for high-volume email campaigns. We have also recently started implementing API data feeds to bring registration data into the platform, which should help improve automation and data management over time, along with greater audience segmentation and targeting using Adestra Audiences.
There is very little to dislike - but as I as this is a required field: The email editor is powerful but the UI can seem a little dated and take a bit of getting used to in the early days. The automation program builder could do with some copy/paste functionality where some flows are repeated You can't get a free coffee (they asked for 3, that's all I got). None of these are major limitations (maybe the coffee) as all have workarounds.
Not as customizable as I would like.
We experienced some issues when copying emails and over time the underlying HTML became messy, leading to some layout inconsistencies, this was resolved by having a new template created from scratch.
